This section provides information and resources regarding what to do about possible concerns about the conduct of a registered psychologist in British Columbia.

This section contains information about making a complaint and the complaint process, as well as information regarding a range of possible outcomes of a complaint investigation, the Health Professions Review Board, and public notifications regarding registered psychologists.

The College regulates its registrants under authority of the Health Professions Act (HPA), the Psychologists Regulation, and the College Bylaws, which include the Code of Conduct.


The complaint process is an important part of ensuring quality and accountability in the provision of psychological services in British Columbia.  Thank you for bringing your concerns to the attention of the College.

 


 

 

Our Mandate

To regulate the profession of psychology in the public interest in accordance with the Health Professions Act of British Columbia by setting the standards for competent and ethical practice, promoting excellence and taking action when standards are not met.
